Look Up and Fall in Love

The lanai is the best seat in Wellen Park, and a wood ceiling makes the space. Warm boards overhead turn a plain covered patio into the room everyone fights over.

Designed and built locally by Trim My Crib™, the Wellen Park team crafting outdoor wood ceilings for lanais, porches and outdoor kitchens.

Look up: real lanai ceilings

These are real outdoor wood ceilings that Trim My Crib built for homeowners nearby. Stained, tongue-and-groove, framed and finished. Fair warning: once you see a few, the plain white lanai ceiling never looks the same.

Find your wood tone

Every lanai has a personality. Most of them land on one of these four moods.

Honey glow

Golden boards that light up when the afternoon sun bounces off the pool. Bright, happy and very Florida.

Pairs with: White fans and sand-colored cushions.

Rich pecan

Deeper and warmer, with grain that really shows. The look people point at first when they step outside.

Pairs with: Dark bronze fans and navy outdoor fabrics.

Smoky driftwood

A soft gray-brown stain that feels breezy and coastal and never shouts.

Pairs with: White trim, rattan chairs and lots of green.

Painted and breezy

Boards painted a pale haint-style blue or a crisp white. Same wood, cooler vibe.

Pairs with: Brass lantern pendants and striped pillows.

Why the lanai wins

Around here, the lanai is where life actually happens. A wood ceiling just makes it feel finished.

  • Sunrise coffeeBefore the heat shows up, the lanai is the quietest seat in the house.
  • Game dayMount the screen, cue the fans and let the wood ceiling make it feel like a clubhouse.
  • Pool partyKids in the water, grown-ups in the shade, everybody under one good-looking roof.
  • Summer stormsWatch the afternoon rain roll in from a dry, cozy spot under the boards.
  • Dinner outsideLantern light on stained wood beats any restaurant patio.
  • Late-night talksWhen the house is asleep, the lanai is where the best conversations happen.

Not just lanais: porches, kitchens and entries
